St. Louis, MO (December 2019) — The Wallner Home Selling Team in St. Louis held a November raffle, and all proceeds benefited the Angels’ Arms charity. The local real estate group raised funds for the nonprofit organization, which benefits St. Louis children in foster care. The Wallner raffle had a holiday theme and was for Christmas lights. Specifically, the winner would receive a $1,000 certificate for new, custom Christmas lights. The winner even had the opportunity to choose their own colors and keep the lights for next year. Raffle tickets were sold for $10 apiece or 3 for $20. The winner was drawn live on Facebook on November 29th.
The Wallner Home Selling Team has a proud history of donating to charity and upholding admirable character. In addition to this most recent event, they also held a raffle for Blues Hockey tickets back in May. The winner received two front row seats for the playoff game against the San Jose Sharks on May 15th. The winner was also treated to the all-inclusive package, so they received early entry into the game as well as free food and drinks. The proceeds from both events went to the Angels’ Arms charity.
Angels’ Arms is a St. Louis charity that provides assistance to foster children. The charity helps them find and remain in permanent homes with loving families. The charity was founded in 2000 and has assisted more than 500 children find and stay in new homes. Angels’ Arms’ primary desire is to have siblings stay together. This helps strengthen family bonds, especially when foster children feel the care of parents and first learn what it’s like to be part of a functional family. Children are taught to do chores, complete their schoolwork, and join in on family meals. More information is available about the Wallner team and Angels’ Arms on their Facebook page.
