In the 2022 ICF Global Consumer Awareness Study, which surveyed 30,727 people across 30 countries, the most common reasons for working with a coach were improving communication skills (37%), improving work-life balance (35%) and building self-esteem or self-confidence (35%).

Sahota's approach combines modern coaching frameworks with personal development principles he has studied since 1996, when he began formal training through an organization connected to the teachings of Napoleon Hill. He later worked with author Bob Proctor in Proctor's youth mentoring program.

"Many of the people I work with already know they're capable of more," Sahota said. "What holds them back is often a pattern they haven't fully seen yet. My role is to help them discover and activate what is already within them, and then build the follow-through to act on it."
