Participants of the Holy Land Tour expressed their delightfulness from the final day of the 2018 Holy Land Tour.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome– the founder of the renowned Christ Embassy Church has organized the final day of the 2018 Holy Tour as a “day to remember”. The week-ling visit to Israel was designed to play a crucial role in the spiritual success of the believers and followers of Pastor Chris and the Church. The trip was divided into four different groups, each accompanying the Pastor at crucial moments and sites. The Holy Land Tour aims to connect Christ believers with the Land of Jesus, expanding their understanding of the Bible and scripture, and thus connecting them to the Jewish land on a new level of faith. The entire tour was broadcasted and covered extensively by the news agencies, social media, and multiple streaming websites. The organization have thus declared the visit as “an overwhelming success”.

The day began while one of the groups still resided in Jordan, a neighboring country to Israel. They visited the city of Jerash. It is a city of the Decapolis and the site of the ruins of a Greco-Roman city. The site is filled with historical and biblical references dating back centuries. The Biblical Holy Land is not just in Israel, it spreads out to other modern-day countries such as Jordan, making this tour an opportunity to experience new countries.Participants expressed how amazed were they by the rich archeological diversity the site offered. They shared that “it was a moment in which Christians could understand, first hand, where Jesus resided and what He went through in His life.”

The participants were then served at a traditional Lebanese restaurant in Jerash, Jordan. The group received a warm welcome and had the chance to try traditional food and drink. The Holy Land Tour provides the opportunity not only to connect to the scripture but also to experience the diverse culture of Middle East.

The group went back to Israel by crossing the Allenby Bridge border. The Allenby Bridge, which is also known as the King Hussein Bridge connects the West Bank with Jordan and crosses the Jordan River. Other than through the West Bank, the bridge is currently the sole designated exit/entry point for West Bank Palestinians traveling in and out of the region.

To wrap up the day and the Holy Land Tour itself, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Benny Hinn are prepared to host a charity gala at Olmaya Hall, Jerusalem. The event will feature a ministration from the Man of God, leading his followers closer to Jesus and their faith. Invited guests include local and international members of the Evangelical community as well as supporters from the Jewish community and fans of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. The Jerusalem Orchestra will also be there.

The ministration before the Gala will be broadcasted live tonight (Thursday the 17th of May), at 6PM (GMT+1) or 8PM Israel time. Those who want to watch the livestream can follow the official broadcast links on YouTube and Facebook:

Hawaii volcano produces methane and 'eerie' blue flames

May 24, 2018

HONOLULU — Scientists in Hawaii have captured rare images of blue flames burning from cracks in the pavement as Kilauea volcano gushes fountains of lava in the background, offering a look at a new dimension in the volcano's weeks-long eruption. The volcano produces methane when hot lava buries and burns plants and trees. The gas flows through the ground and up through existing cracks. "It's very dramatic. It's very eerie," Jim Kauahikaua, a U.S. Geological Survey scientist, told reporters. He said it was just the second time he's ever seen blue flames during an eruption. The methane can seep through...

Republicans to meet with intel officials on Russia probe

May 24, 2018

WASHINGTON — House and Senate lawmakers are set to meet with top intelligence officials as President Donald Trump raises new suspicions about the federal investigation into his 2016 campaign. Trump is calling his newest attempt at discrediting special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation "spygate." In recent days, he has been zeroing in on — and at times embellishing — reports that a longtime U.S. government informant approached members of his campaign during the 2016 presidential election in a possible bid to glean intelligence on Russian efforts to sway the election. Trump tweeted Wednesday that the FBI had been caught in...

Deutsche Bank to slash thousands of jobs to control costs

May 24, 2018

FRANKFURT, Germany — Germany's struggling Deutsche Bank is slashing thousands of jobs as it reshapes its stocks trading operation and refocuses its global investment banking business on its European base. The bank said Thursday it would cut its workforce from 97,000 to "well below" 90,000 and that the reductions were already "underway." It said headcount in the stocks trading business, mostly based in New York and London, would be reduced by about 25 percent. Those cuts will cost the bank some 800 million euros ($935 million) this year. Deutsche Bank has struggled with high costs and troubles with regulators. The...

Video of Brown arrest sparks criticism of Milwaukee police

May 24, 2018

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales has apologized to Bucks player Sterling Brown for a January arrest that started with a parking violation and escalated to include the use of a stun gun, and he said some officers were disciplined. Brown, who is African-American, says the incident was "an attempt at police intimidation" and that it "shouldn't happen to anybody." Meanwhile, community groups in Milwaukee are weighing in, too — criticizing police for how they handled Brown. Morales' apology on Wednesday came as police released body-camera footage that showed how a simple interaction over an illegally parked car quickly...

Senate primary splits Arizona conservatives between 2 icons

May 24, 2018

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was asking dozens of tea party activists for their backing in Arizona's Republican Senate primary when one audience member said it was a shame disgruntled conservatives couldn't send "both of you" to Washington. The man wasn't just talking about Arpaio, but the other Arizona conservative icon who was there that night promoting her rival Senate campaign, former state Sen. Kelli Ward. The room burst into applause at the remark, which sums up the dilemma facing Arizona's boisterous conservatives — their hearts are split between two candidates in the primary. That divide...
